The DDSCP provides general and specialist courses to help build staff skills, knowledge, and confidence when working with children, young people and families. Training is delivered by the DDSCP Training Officer and a multi-agency pool of specialist facilitators.
Multi-agency training is available for volunteers and practitioners working across Derby and Derbyshire only.
To book on any event or e-learning course, please visit our learning management system. A guide on How to create a training account is available to support you setting up and accessing all the features on your account. If you are not sure what training you require, please speak to your manager.
Important: Delegates must create their own individual account. The account is linked to the email address you provide and certificates will only be issued in the name on that account.
Once you have booked onto a course, please take a moment to look at the Information for delegates document, which will provide you information on what to expect in our training courses.
Once a member of staff has booked on a course, the registered line manager on the account will receive a copy of the booking. Line managers will also receive an email if a member of staff cancels a place or fails to attend (no show).
